Citizen Swiss Turning CNC Machines

Pingel Ent, Inc. has 3 Citizen Swiss CNC machines. We have all “L series” models of 20mm and 32mm diameter machines. Our Swiss CNC Machines are equipped with Iemca automatic bar loaders to ensure they operate as efficiently as possible. Swiss CNC machines are known throughout the industry, when compared to conventional CNC machines, as a “sliding headstock” machine. This means the bar stock slides in and out and the tools move left and right as the part is made with very little tool change time. The machine has a guide bushing that supports the bar within 2mm of most tools and then a collet further back to clamp and move the bar through the bushing and machine. The guide bushing layout creates the most rigid method of cutting material while minimizing tool deflection, therefore holding dimensions within tenths of a thousandth of an inch (.0001) and at sizes as small as the eye can see.

Standard & Conventional Turning with Eurotech

Pingel CNC also owns and operates 2 Eurotech twin spindle twin turret CNC machines, The 710 SLL-Y and 420 SSL-Y are equipped with High-Pressure units. The Eurotech 710 has a 2.750” capacity and both twin turret machines have 12 stations with live tool capabilities on each station. Pingel CNC also operates a triple turret Eurotech 465 with 12 stations on each turret, all capable of live tools with the advantage of three axis on each turret. Each turret has 1000 psi high pressure delivered by a 3-pump LNS Unit. The bars are fed by a top-of-the-line “Top” Bar loader. Finally, we have a 735 SL-Y Eurotech, which is a single turret twin spindle conventional lathe. The 735 Single turret works great for chucking slugs or running large parts in an operation with its Iemca automatic bar loader. Eurotech machines are some of the fastest conventional CNCs on the market with no expense spared to ensure quality, dependability, and speed.

Citizen & Eurotech CNC Machines

Pingel CNC has exhaustively researched each piece of added machinery to address gaps in available procedures as well as improve long-standing offered services. Citizen Swiss CNC and conventional Eurotech machines represent the absolute best equipment available to machine shops worldwide and deliver the consistently high-quality results customers have come to expect from Pingel CNC. All operators receive thorough training before operating each machine and continually expand their knowledge to keep up with technological or process improvements. Each machine is regularly inspected and cleaned to ensure accurate results free from potential contaminants that could impact subsequent coating or fabrication efforts.

High-Pressure Cool Blaster System

To improve the surface finish and reduce the cutting or drilling time, Pingel CNC has outfitted our facility with additional Cool Blaster High-Pressure Systems. These systems implement a water-soluble coolant, pressurized to 1,000 psi, to break and remove chips of machined material to prevent them from winding around cutting tools and interfering with the machining process. Pingel CNC also owns a Mist Collection System, an aftermarket addition mounted directly to tooling machines to capture possible contaminants like the water-soluble coolant used by the Cool Blaster. The Mist Collection system is highly efficient and is capable of capturing particles measuring as small as 0.3 microns.

Finishing

Pingel CNC offers an array of finishing solutions to further enhance or refine machined components before they are delivered to customers. Polishing, tumbling, and de-burring services elevate the final quality and appearance of machined parts eliminating the need for customers to search out a supplemental provider.

Welding

TIG, MIG, and Robotic Welding services are all available upon request at Pingel CNC. In addition to providing welding services to active customers, our team also offers comprehensive welding services to customers who have components not machined by Pingel CNC.
